Winter Warmers & Rainy Day Vibes: June Market Wrap-Up
Logan Park was absolutely buzzing this past Saturday for our June market! A bit of winter rain didn’t stop the community from coming out in droves, and the vibes were unmatched from the moment the first coffee was poured at 8:30 AM. It was a bustling, beautiful day of fresh produce, warm smiles, and community spirit.
Free Soup, Sourdough & Cozy Comforts
To beat the winter chill, we cooked up a massive batch of pumpkin, leek, and ginger soup. We paired it with fresh sourdough from Gippsland wild yeast bakery for free tastings, and it was the ultimate comfort food for a crisp, rainy morning! There is truly nothing better than holding a warm cup of soup while doing your monthly shopping.
The kids (and the young at heart!) were also treated to an absolute cuteness overload with Barn Babies farm animals, returning to the park. Getting to cuddle those adorable animals made the rainy morning feel incredibly bright.
🍲 New Flavours & Fresh Faces
We were thrilled to welcome some fantastic new energy to the Warragul Farmers Market family this month, alongside our beloved regular makers and growers:
Hagoo: Serving up incredible, authentic Hungarian food that was the perfect winter warmer.
Welcome Back: A huge shoutout to all of our returning favorites who kept our pantries and shopping bags full of local goodness.
Local Beats
The incredible Hand over Hammer took to the stage this month, providing the perfect acoustic backdrop and keeping the energy high despite the drizzle. Their music had everyone smiling, tapping their feet, and enjoying the lively market atmosphere.
