Rug up, grab your reusable bags, and join us for a very cozy Christmas in July at the market! This month, we are celebrating the true spirit of the season by focusing on the warmth of community, local produce, and the joy of giving back.

Alongside your favorite local growers, makers, and delicious hot food stalls, we have some beautiful community activations planned for the morning.

🎁 The Winter Warmth Donation Drive

We are incredibly proud to partner with Baw Baw Food Relief for their Winter Warmth Appeal. Winter can be a tough time for many families in our region, and we want to help fill their pantries.

  • How to join in: Bring along a non-perishable food item (like canned soups, pasta, rice, or pantry staples) and drop it into our giant donation basket at the Information Tent.

  • The WFM Match: To double the impact, the Warragul Farmers Market will be matching community donations! Let’s work together to look after our neighbors this winter.

📚 The Cozy Cooking & Gardening Book Swap

Got a cookbook you’ve completely mastered? Or a gardening guide you’ve read cover-to-cover? Give it a second life at our "Pages & Plants" Book Exchange!

  • How it works: Bring a book, take a book! This swap is strictly cooking and gardening themed only.

  • Drop off your pre-loved books at our cozy library corner, browse the shelves, and take home some fresh winter inspiration for your kitchen or veggie patch.

❄️ Festive Vibes, Hot Drinks & Local Beats

The park will be filled with winter cheer! Warm up with a hot gingerbread latte or a rich hot chocolate, and enjoy some festive acoustic tunes drifting through the pavilions. Many of our talented stallholders will also be bringing out special, limited-edition holiday treats just for the day.

♿ Accessibility & Parking Information

We want to ensure the market is accessible for everyone to enjoy.

  • Direct disabled and accessible parking spots are available via Exhibition Lane / Permewan Lane.

  • Alternatively, there is excellent parking just a short walk away across the road at the new shopping complex on Alfred Street (right by the new JB Hi-Fi).

We love planning ahead, so our stallholder list is put together at the beginning of the month. Because our vendors are real people running small independent businesses, personal circumstances can sometimes cause last-minute roster changes. Rest assured, if someone can't make it, we do our best to find a fantastic similar producer to step in!
